Training Course on Dialogue, Negotiation and Mediation for Consensus-Based Nation-Building
About the Training:
Africa University’s College of Business, Peace, Leadership and Governance (CBPLG) has partnered with the Embassy of Switzerland and technical experts from the Center for Security Studies (CSS) ETH Zurich to organize a training course on dialogue, negotiation and mediation. The course seeks to develop the capacity of Zimbabwean policy makers and practitioners from different key stakeholder groups in consensus-oriented nation-building, providing them with the necessary dialogue, negotiation and mediation skills and approaches. It also aims to develop a network of state and non-state actors who share a common understanding of how to constructively engage in nation-building.
Key concepts related to dialogue, negotiation and mediation will be introduced by knowledgeable facilitators from CSS-ETH, ZPSP and AU.
