Students coming back to campus this semester were treated to a new look in the University Canteen. The canteen received a major facelift towards the end of 2016. The refurbishments include new furnishings and floor tiles to create a warm and lively experience.
The new decor, which is elegant and traditional, promotes community building within its Pan-African student body, encouraging social interactions in a homely environment. “We envision a canteen where students love coming to and where interactions become more enjoyable and peaceful.” said the Food Services Manager, Ms Sarah Dube.
Over the course of last year, the AU Management has made several investments into improving the quality of campus life. The institution has seen massive renovations for Bishop Edwin C and Mrs Betty Ann Boulton Hall of residence popularly known as J Block and an improvement in the entertainment area at the Ndorimana Bonaventure building which serves as the Students Union (SU) building.
Africa University is a private institution of higher learning. The institution offers state of the art facilities to deliver a world class education and produce excelling global citizens who transform society. AU will be celebrating 25 years of service and leadership in March this year.
