As the Google Developer Student Club President, I lead a team dedicated to using technology for social impact. Our flagship project focuses on translating Kirundi, a language spoken in Burundi, to promote cultural understanding. Campus life is not just about academics; it’s also a transformative journey of personal development. Living away from home for the first time, I had to navigate the complexities of independence, responsibility, and self-discovery. From managing finances and balancing academics with extracurricular activities to forging meaningful relationships and coping with setbacks, every experience has contributed to my holistic development.

I got a chance to learn and experience culture from different parts of Africa. It’s something I had never dreamed of. Africa University, in my opinion, is training students to lead Africa in the future. Here at Africa University, there are numerous opportunities. At the moment, I serve as President of Africa University Volunteers in Mission, with the experience that I will get from leading this club will, help me become a much stronger leader. Thank you.

Africa University, where leaders are cultivated, holds a special place in my heart. Being an Acacian has been a blessing. I once served as Nigerian Students Association President, Public Secretary for United Methodist Students Movement (UMSM), Committee Member for Fairfield Buddies, The leadership positions I held sharpened my skills and helped me become the person I always envisioned. Currently serving as a Student Ambassador and Google Developer Students Club as a Graphics Designer, and Software/Hardware Lead.
