Overview
Welcome to Africa Univesity Clubs and Communities page. At Africa University, there are many ways to find clubs or communities— through student residence, classes, and extracurricular activities. Engaging in these clubs or communities is one way to connect with other students on campus in a meaningful and lasting way.
Whether it’s dance, drama, creative writing, design, visual arts, or music, the clubs cross boundaries and sub-communities within the University and provide common ground for Africa University's students.
Joining or starting a new club or community can give a student invaluable experience in leadership, teamwork, and collaboration, and a community for expressing your creativity and passion.
Various clubs and societies of a sporting, cultural or social nature are set up under the auspices of the Student Union. The formation of these organizations depends on the initiative of students. Any student can think of a club or society, which he or she can start and mobilizes for membership within the student body. The club will have to work within rules drawn up by the Student Representative Council for it to be recognized and be affiliated to the Council.
Campus Life and Student Development Office is there to promote community involvement, co-curricular activities, leadership development and engagement among students on and off campus. This is through the inculcation of the principles of diversity, engagement, respect, leadership and community service.
