At the College of Engineering and Applied Sciences, we offer a wide range of programs and opportunities designed to prepare students for successful careers in the rapidly evolving fields of engineering and applied sciences like Artificial Intelligence. Our faculty consists of distinguished experts and researchers who are passionate about their disciplines and committed to providing a world-class education to our students.

Africa University's Department of Computer Engineering offers a thorough educational programme that integrates theoretical understanding, real-world application, and chances for research in the discipline. It seeks to generate graduates who are capable of addressing the changing demands of the industry and making valuable contributions to the progress of technology. The department allows students to specialise in different areas of computer engineering by offering undergraduate and graduate degree options. It has honours in Artificial intelligence, Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Information Technology, and Software Engineering for a bachelor's degree. Each of these four-year degree degrees requires a one-year industrial attachment. The department also offers a two-year Master of Science in Computer Science study. The department offers a curriculum that includes courses in computer science, mathematics, fundamental engineering principles, and specialised computer engineering.
In addition to our strong academic programs, we prioritize interdisciplinary collaboration and encourage students to explore diverse areas of study. We foster a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship, supporting students in their pursuit of ground-breaking research and transformative ideas.
