The Department of Public Health and Nursing is at the forefront of educating health professionals for service across Africa. We offer degree programs in Public Health, Community Health Nursing, and Health Promotion.
Students gain a thorough grounding in topics such as epidemiology, health policy, program planning, health education strategies and basic clinical skills. For nurses, coursework also covers medical-surgical nursing, maternal-child health and mental health nursing.
