College of Health, Agriculture and Natural Sciences
I have had an exciting career in healthcare and in medical and health sciences education. Drawing from my broad educational experiences in medical sciences and in health professions education, I have made significant contributions to the development of human resources for health in Nigeria, Uganda, Fiji Islands, Zambia, and now Zimbabwe. I held faculty positions at the Kampala International University, Uganda, Associate Professorship at the Fiji School of Medicine/Fiji National University, Fiji, Associate Professorship at the School of Medicine, University of Zambia, Full Professorship at the School of Medicine and Health Sciences, Mulungushi University, Livingstone, Zambia and currently at Africa University, Mutare Zimbabwe. I have been Dean of the School of Medicine and Health Sciences, Mulungushi University, and the College of Health, Agriculture, and Natural Sciences, Africa University. In possession of two earned doctorate degrees, I am a Fellow of the Foundation for the Advancement of International Medical Education and Research (FAIMER) Fellow of the African Scientific Institute, USA, and SAS Society Eminent Fellow, India. I belong to many professional bodies and have received Chartered awards from three organizations including CSci from Science Council UK, CBiol from Royal Society of Biology, UK, and CChem from the Royal Australian Chemical Institute, Australia. I am a Life Long Learner with great passion for new opportunities and ideas that will improve human health and dignity.
