Biography

Tawanda Nyikadzino is a public management researcher and educator based at Africa University. Tawanda holds a PhD in Public Management and Governance (University of Johannesburg, South Africa), a Master of Public Administration and a BSc (Hons) in Administration (University of Zimbabwe), and a Research Methodology Certificate (University of Witwatersrand, South Africa). His research interests are in public management, governance and public policy. He has published more than 20 peer-reviewed book chapters and journal articles with internationally accredited publishers. Tawanda has more than nine years of experience working as an educator in tertiary institutions and has vast research, facilitation, capacity building and consultancy experience. He has participated as a lead researcher in UNICEF and UNDP projects. Tawanda has also done several consultant jobs for national and international organisations such as UN Women, UNDP, AFRODAD, ZIMCODD, Mercy Corps, Silveira House, Raoul Wallenberg Institute, UKRI, German International Zimbabwe, City of Mutare, Legal Resource Foundation, United Mutare Residents and Ratepayers Trust, among others. Tawanda is also a Zimbabwe Council of Higher Education (ZIMCHE) thought.
