Artificial Intelligence (AI) is a branch of computing science that deals with the development of machines capable of thinking like a human brain. It focuses on the stimulation of human thought and behaviour in machines including learning from data, reasoning, and self-correction. AI also includes information systems that have some knowledge related to the enterprise in which the information systems are situated. Furthermore, information systems are designed to be responsive to the needs of their end users.


  • Normal Entry Requirements

For normal entry, the candidates should have:

  • Passed at least 5 subjects at Ordinary Level including Mathematics and English Language or equivalent university entry qualifications in the applicant’s country of origin
  • Advanced level passes in Mathematics and any other Science or Commercial subjects.

Special Entry:

For special entry, the candidates should: –

  • Have passed at least 5 subjects at Ordinary Level including Mathematics and English Language.
  • Hold at least a Diploma in an Approved Computer Science field or any other recognized equivalent with two years post qualification experience. The applicant may be invited for an oral interview or examination.

Mature Entry

  • Mature entry candidates will be considered as stipulated in the General Academic Regulations.
