The four-year Bachelor of Science with Education in Business/Commerce Programme is offered in conjunction with the Faculty of Management and Administration. There is no option for major and minor in this programme. Students are required to take all specified Business courses in the programme. The programme prepares candidates to be able to teach Business or Commerce courses at the secondary school level. The programme involves seven semesters of coursework plus an additional semester of teaching practice.
To register for the Bachelor of Science with Education in Business Studies Honours Programme, a candidate must satisfy the usual entry requirements for an undergraduate degree as stipulated in the University registration rules. English and Mathematics (variable) at O’ Level are compulsory subjects and should normally have been obtained with a minimum grade “C” or equivalent (for non-English speaking countries). In addition to the above, admission to the Bachelor of Science with Education in Business Studies Honours Programme of study requires at least two A’ level passes commercial subjects.
Special Entry:
Notwithstanding the above, candidates with 5 ‘O’ Level passes including English Language and Mathematics with a minimum “C” grade and a relevant three-year Diploma in Education from a recognized and accredited institution may be granted admission with one-year exemption.
