The Master of Science in Applied Accounting (MSc. Acc.) degree programme at Africa University is intended for students upgrading their accounting profession as well as for those seeking to further their existing accounting careers. The programme is designed to provide a career-focused academic and professional experience for students. The programme also provides a good understanding of the standard professional requirements of the practice based examinations studied to obtain chartered status as an accountant. The programme is both quantitative and qualitative and reflects the increasing internationalization of the business accounting profession.  There will be an emphasis on the application of accounting and finance techniques, underpinned by the relevant laws, regulations and international standards.
